Christmas photos 2011

My family is on the blog today! I put a little more effort than usual into our family photos this year. After I had put together our outfits (one of my favorite parts of a shoot!).We packed up the kids, grabbed my little sister to help us out and headed out in search of snow. I adjusted my camera settings and handed the camera over to my sister Melea to shoot the whole family together. I discovered I am no where near as patient and calm as I thought I would be about getting a family photo! Even though I know they ALWAYS turn out best when everyone is having fun and parents are extra patient with the kiddos...oops:)

Me and the love of my life. Let me just brag a bit about this guy. He is a full time employee, a full time student, a awesome hands on father and a loving sweet, and funny husband. He does this all with no complaining and I don't think I have ever seen him stressed out (even during finals week!)

My older sister Tristi (who designs our Christmas cards) surprised me with this beautiful scrapbook of all the photos we took as a Christmas gift! I LOVE it! Such a thoughtful gift. It made me tear up a little when I opened it.
